Plant description

Native distribution in Africa, Mediterranean countries, India and China and now naturalised in Western Australia. Spreading by suckering and seeds. Able to tolerate salt (halophytic) and grows to 12 m.The summer flowers are pink or white racemes. A Weed of National Significance (WONS).
