Our new Nature Play Space

Nature Play Space

Cottesloe Coastcare’s latest exciting project is a Nature Play Space at South Cottesloe, near the Vlamingh Memorial.

The inspired team at Nature Based Play have designed a wonderful nature discovery space. It will be a place for kids to explore, find, touch, climb and make things from sticks or gum nuts. Nestled among the new plants will be rocks to explore, a “humpback whale” to climb over and a fairy bridge that little kids will love.

Cottesloe Coastcare has already started restoring this previously weedy, degraded site and we’ve had lots of help from the community.

Funding to start the project has come from the Town of Cottesloe and the Community Environment Fund through Celia Hammond, our local Member of Parliament.

Now we just need a bit of help to get across the finishing line.
