Volunteer

We always welcome extra helpers either at our working bees or doing behind the scenes work.

Working Bees

Depending on the time of year we may be planting, weeding, watering or collecting seed and the view is always good!

We provide all equipment and a good morning tea. Just wear closed in shoes and weather protection – sun, wind or rain.

We have a regular Sunday working bee on the first Sunday of the month and extra sessions at busy times – particularly for planting which usually happens between April and June.

Dates for upcoming working bees are on our Home page and on our Facebook page. Come along and meet us!

If you’d like us to email you about upcoming working bees sign up here.

Behind the scenes

There is always a lot of work to do to keep Coastcare running. So if you’re not able to help on the ground we always appreciate help with administrative tasks such as writing grant applications, social media and websites.  If you have experience that you think might help us we’d love to hear from you.
