Plant description

A vigorous climbing plant with cylindrical fruit, found at Grant Marine Park and other sites. The firm 10 mm long pods pop open on hot summer days. Ants are attracted to the white ‘fat bodies’ around the seeds; they collect and bury the seeds so increasing the plants’ dispersal.
