Plant description

Pigface is a hardy perennial with angular succulent leaves. It occurs on the coast and is present in Grant Marine Park. The fruit is fleshy, with many seeds embedded in it. The local pigface is similar to the introduced species, C. edulis, which has yellow flowers fading to pink.
