Pink Fairy Orchid

Plant description

The first time Pink Fairies have been recorded in Cottesloe in recent years was at Cottesloe Native Gardens in 2017 after concerted weed removal and restoration efforts. It is a herbaceous perennial, growing from a tuber. A flower stalk can grow to 40 cms and there is one hairy leaf. Seed is like fine dust and spreads in the wind.
