Ammophila arenaria Marram Grass
 Click for larger image | Family: Poaceae Priority: Low A perennial grass, growing to 1.3m tall which was introduced from Europe to stabilise dunes. It has been used successfully and disappears as other species grow higher up the stabilised dune. The leaves are stiff with rolled in margins and sharp points.
