Plant description

The only remnant Quandongs in Cottesloe grow near what was the WA School for deaf Children. CCA volunteers grew some plants from suckers and they are now thriving and spreading at Grant Marine Park. Quandong, a semi-parasite grows on the roots of surrounding plants. It’s an attractive small tree that can grow to 8 metres. One of our larger butterflies, the spotted jezebel, feeds on this plant.
