About us
Cottesloe Coastcare Association (CCA) is a community group that works to protect the natural areas of Cottesloe - a coastal suburb of Perth Western Australia.

The group was formed in 1995 and since then it has grown to approximately 100 members and obtained grants totalling $150,000 from State and Federal governments. Our funding support comes from:
- Australian Government - Caring for Country
- State Government - Coastwest
- Our local council - Town of Cottesloe
Cottesloe has only small areas of natural vegetation remaining and these mainly occur along the foredune and in Grant Marine Park, Cottesloe Native Garden, Vlamingh Memorial and Mudurup Rocks - described in Our Projects. There are 63 local plants remaining and these can all be seen in Plants to Plant.
The Management Committee is made up of 10 local residents along with one Council representative and the North Metropolitan Coastcare Officer. Meetings are usually held monthly.
